Wow. Haven't journalled for a while.

Ahh, bum, the title's got cut off. It's meant to read "Marking your door with lamb's blood protects you from Meningitis C", which isn't very funny really, but I did my best.

Am in the wonderful world of university, soaking up knowledge like a damp and slightly intoxicated sponge.

What? Have you never heard a sponge hiccup??

I'm spending far too much money and not doing nearly enough work, so all in all it's going astonishingly well. Not quite so many med students are arseholes as I had estimated, which is nice.

Apologies for my current creative drought. It was such a shitty summer I didn't take many photos and... well... I'm lazy.

Hellooooo.

Guess what!!!! I got a part in Tom Jones, the 18th century bawdy thingy play whatsit. And I'm going to be Sophia, the heroine. She's sickeningly wonderful and deadly dull, but... I GET TO WEAR PRETTY DRESSES.

Hopefully it should be good, because they do a tour around Somerset and play in beautiful outdoor venues. Which means wind and rain and numerous unspeakable horrors, but never mind. Hurray!

Hurray!

Hurray!

Bye.

P.S. My oboe exam wasn't too bad, but it was scary and I buggered it up a bit. Never mind, ehhh??

Eek.

Oboe Grade 7 exam today. I'm slightly nervous.

I haven't practised for the last few days because I've been busy wiping poo off mentally deficient old men.

I'm scared.

Post-Haircut Blues

Yeah, I got 'em bad. You know after you've had your hair done and it finally gets so foul you have to wash it and actually dry it yourself and you'd finally worked out how to make your last haircut work, but now it's all different and it doesn't look anywhere near how good the hairdresser did it?

Well yeah.

Also I have my oboe Grade 7 exam next Thursday and I be crapping myself.

And I feel all spaced out and full of interesting ideas that would work out splendidly in a film or a novel, but will likely fall flat out here in the real world.

But never mind. I won't have time to think such depressing thoughts after Wednesday, because I have three 12-hour days in a row and I will surely die.
